Tobias Kaye is an internationally acclaimed artist and designer working in the beautiful medium of turned wood.

As well as creating wonders in wood Tobias passes on his knowledge to others with his courses.

The 3/8" Square Shear Hollowing Scraper (HCT 430) was designed by Tobias Kaye during research into hollowing methods for an article for Good Woodworking magazine in 1992 (issue 9). It is a more robust version of the tool used by Dell Stubbs to turn his bowls down to 4 thousandths of an inch thick.
